User Opt-out of Review Pending Notifications

  • Chad Reply

Today we are launching an opt-out of Review Pending notifications.

Review Pending notifications are used when we need input from you or your client. Prior to today, a review pending notification went out to any user who had access to the account.

Review pending notifications always go out with your portal's branding. Many resellers are successfully using this feature to reduce administrative time by giving us a more direct (albeit private-labeled) communication path to your clients.

For those of you who want more control, now you can setup end user access to the portal and specifically opt the user out of review pending notifications. See the screenshot below.

Please note that if you opt-out of review pending notifications, your client will still get Monthly Reports, Monthly Newsletters, Web Lead Notifications and Social Media Notifications when turned on for the campaign.

Great. I know many resellers are wanting to manage the Content Marketing process a little more before sharing with the end-client. I like the feature, but hope that it does NOT discourage Resellers from talking to their clients about how to create engaging content... Still critical in my book.

Great feature guys. To clarify, is this activated on an account level, not a user level? Also, once activated, does this mean regular (non-reseller) users will not receive task updates?

It is on the user level. Once you opt-out, they will no longer get the task updates that are sent when we move a task into Review Pending - Client.

If you manually add a client to a task, they would get task updates. I don't think many (if any) people are adding clients to tasks directly. The biggest complaint was when they were automatically added when a task went into Review Pending - Client.

Nice. There are certainly some clients I have that want no part in the process, so I'm glad to have this availability.

This is a really exciting step forward. Is this a way to send only the reports to the client?

    I think so, yes...

To send only reports, you would do the following:
    On the user profile:
    Opt-out of Review Pending Notification

    On campaign details:
    Turn off Monthly Newsletter
    Turn off Social Mention Notify
Turn off weekly traffic alerts (currently off globally)

They would still get lead notifications... but you could just not use web to lead forms.

The after successfully turning off all of the great features we have built... your poor dashboard would just send the monthly report :)
