    10,000 is way too much to read for twitter. Don't know who's really going to sit there and read those all the time.

    How about making it an unlimited length, but every line of the tweet is at a slightly smaller font size, so that when you look at it, you can readily see the first few lines in normal size, then after a few hundred characters it requires close reading, then a few more lines and it's down to miniscopic, microscule, and eventually absolutely invisible? When a tweet goes on into its 10th page, does it even make a sound?
