PPC Data Import

    We rolled out a new process for importing PPC data today. We've streamlined the setup process so that when you authorize Google Analytics for visit data, the system will also pull ppc data through the same process.

    There are a few conversion requirements:

    1) You must make sure that your Adwords account is linked to your Google Analytics account.

    2) You need to setup Goal tracking in Google Analytics so that PPC conversions show on the PPC tab.

    3) Make sure that the Google Analytics profile you linked to your HubShout campaign has your ppc cost and conversion data.

    The first two steps above are best practices for setting up Google Analytics, so most accounts are already in good shape.

    We timed this release to the end of the month so that any accounts without conversion data can get it setup in the next few days and be in good shape for September.

    If you have an account with ppc data, please login to your dashboard tomorrow morning after 9 AM and verify your month to date spend.

    If goals are not set up in analytics, will our PPC team set that up?

    Yes for clients on plans with an analyst. No for reporting only.
