Incorrect Monthly Keyword Search Volume

    We are currently experiencing incorrect monthly keyword volumes for some of our keywords. Several of the keywords are showing volumes of "10" when they are actually much higher.

    We receive this data from SEMRUSH and have opened a support ticket with the SEMRUSH API team to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

    Hey guys. We heard back from SEMRUSH today. They have acknowledged our ticket and said "we will start working on this." Chad showed them how their API was showing 0 search volume for the keyword phrase "search engine optimization". LOL

    Hi all. I followed up with SEMRush today. Here is their response as of 4:49 PM on 4/9.
    "I don't have a timeline, but I will touch base with the assigned team every day until they do update me. I'm sorry for the delay. If this goes on for more than a day or 2, I can see if there are any further work arounds or someone I can escalate this to. I'm sorry again for the delay and will update you as soon as I have an update."

      Interesting. We can't be the only group noticing this huge data problem in their API?

    Our account rep at SEMRush also has someone in their group working to figure out a solution. As Adam said above, this call we are making is straight off of their API documentation page. I'll continue to report updates.

    SEMRush sent me an email. They have been able to replicate the issue and has assigned a developer to look into the problem.

    Today, we worked with JD at SEMRush. We were able to build a use case for the support team and then identify a fix. The issue has been resolved. Thank you to the HubShout dev team and SEMRush support.

    We update search volume data once per month. Any results that were incorrect will be updated on the next refresh cycle. Our development team is looking for ways to accelerate the refresh cycle.
