Entering info into the PRQ

I am cutting and pasting info from the old website into the new website PRQ. The old site has a page with 10 links on it. I can copy and paste the words (which are links) but how do I get the words (links) to be active in the PRQ? I don't know if I am asking the question correctly.

That is a good question. I'm going to let Chris or Adam reply. I've had the same question about importing pages with tables on them. One idea would be to view the page source and cut and paste.

You asked the question quite well :)

You can use brackets inline with your page text to designate the links. Its easiest to explain with a sample:

    Copied Text
I looked up a recipe on Google and then I went to the store to buy the ingredients.

    In the PRQ:
I looked up a recipe on Google [Google link = http://google.com] and then I went to the store [the store link = http://wegmans.com] to buy the ingredients.

    Happy Building!

Chris. Can you throw in an example for bolding text and a table? Thanks.

    Sure thing Chad.

Bold and other styling can be accomplished the same way. Using our sample:

    Original Text:
I looked up a recipe on Google and then I went to the store to buy the ingredients.

    In the PRQ:
I looked up a recipe on Google and then [and then style: bold, color = #0D82DF] I went to the store to buy the ingredients.

Tables would be similar, using brackets as well. As Chad mentioned, you could paste the code for the table if you already have it built or copied from another site. You could paste in comma separated values from a spreadsheet. Or, if the table hasn't been coded yet you can designate it like this:

    [insert table: columns = 3, rows = 4, row 01 = Model, MPG, Price; row 02 = Prius, 45, $18,000; row 03 = Leaf, 53, $18,500; row 04 = Volt, 70, $34,000]

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
