Bing Powering AOL Search As of January 1st

"Bing is officially powering AOL search as of January 1st, following a long-term deal made by the two companies back in June."

I didn't think people used AOL search that often to begin with, but I'm curious to see how much bigger Bing's piece of the search pie gets after officially taking this over from Google.

"In addition, Bing can also benefit from the built-in audience currently generating billions of search queries a year for AOL."

I had no idea that AOL was generating so many queries. Good for Bing, but I'm sure that Google won't feel much of a sting from this move.

Is there any advantage that Bing has over Google? At all?

All 8 people still using AOL won't even notice the difference.
