This is the looming Twitter shift that has been foreshadowed for ages now. It's understandable, and honestly I'm not all that worried, since Twitter's layout is more ad-friendly/less abrasive than Facebook's.
The "promoted tweets" that show up in my Twitter feed are always easy enough to gloss over -- I expect it to be the same way with the ads that come to Twitter.
Is Twitter following in the steps of Facebook?!

04/10 at 10:17 AM (13825)For some reason, this bothers me a lot less with Twitter than it does with FB.
04/11 at 10:03 AM (13846)Yeah, I think I can live with this one much easier than I can with Facebook ads.
04/11 at 12:03 PM (13849)Samezies. Might have something to do with how Twitter is essentially made to be skimmed over in the first place.
04/14 at 09:02 AM (13871)I agree with everyone, this seems far less invasive than the facebook ads. I guess this was inevitable
