About Us

The Hubshout writer team is committed to creating high-quality content about our client's businesses. Each writer comes to us with a background and passion in writing. Carolyn worked as copywriter in an Advertising & PR agency and taught Journalism and English at a the college level prior to becoming a full-time writer. Hobbies include writing short stories & poems, going to the movies with friends, reading novels of all genre and playing with my poodle, named Gavroche.

A native of Rochester, NY, Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science from the State University of New York Empire State College. After over 20 years of experience as a paralegal, Elizabeth decided to change professions by applying her extensive legal writing, editing and proofreading experience to a freelance writing career. In addition to her work with Hubshout, Elizabeth has contributed to Veterinary Technician magazine and the Animal Reiki Source newsletter compilation Tails From the Source. She is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association.

Jason has a Systems Engineering background with over 14 years experience in IT. He currently lives in Rochester, NY. He is an avid writer who has focused vast amounts of energy on writing creatively; short stories and poetry are frequently the fruits of his personal expression, but his true objective and heart's desire is the ever-elusive sale of one of his feature-length movie scripts. He also enjoys graphic/web design, having designed and published the sole fan site for his favorite musician.

Jeanne is a psychologist/transition specialist/guidance counselor for deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf/blind students in middle school and high school. She is also the webmaster of her school website. Jeanne likes to research and write about anything connected with psychology, education, special education, ADA, and mental health. However, due to her research skills all of her writing is great. She has been writing for approximately 10 years. Jeanne lives in Maryland with her husband Trevor, and their cat Lord Grey.

Jessica has a B.A. in Writing and Literature. Personal essays, poetry, and children's stories are her favorite things to write. Hobbies include thrift shopping, traveling, and reading whatever she can get her hands on. One day she hopes to be a published children's author and essayist who has seen the world.

Kim W is a full-time writer and virtual assistant, specializing in marketing, PR, design, and cost control. Experienced in enhancing the appeal of a number of different businesses to their target audiences, she's an expert when it comes to beefing up the bottom line of any enterprise. In her spare time, Kim loves to travel, read, research, and converse with the most interesting people she can find.

Matt is a native of Rochester, NY. In addition to his passion for writing, Matt is a musician, music teacher, and purveyor of world class kicking toys (hacky sack) who enjoys the flexibility of working online. He also enjoys learning about the topics of sushi and time travel.

Patrice has vast experience as a content writer and greatly enjoys the creative process of writing. She especially enjoys the topics of legal, nutrition, and thyroid health.

Randy worked for 10 years as a writer for Logan Advertising and sister company Enz Advertising, where she enjoyed writing content for numerous businesses that were printed in hundreds of well known newspapers all around the world. Several neck and back surgeries stopped this career however and for the past 5 years she has continued working as a freelance writer from her home-office.
