If your an active twitter user, it is pretty neat!

From a business standpoint this is cool because you can keep an accurate record of what you're social media people are doing and hopefully will be able to measure effectiveness.

Compare the tweets to an abnormal spike in traffic that Google Analytics shows... then dissect the tweet to find out what made people visit your site. Was is the set up (actual tweet)? Was it the topic you were promoting (hot button/buzz issue of the month)? Did someone influential re-tweet your tweet?

Crazy possibilities to figure out user behavior/tweak your marketing methods. Everyone else thought of using it like that right? OK good, just checking to make sure we were all on the same page with that. On another note, I said "tweet" way too many times in this post....

All your tweets are archived in the Library of Congress, too!

In 20 years I'll be able to look back and see exactly what Dave had to lunch, and learn about how great his cheeseburger was (but wasn't a fan of the service)... Proud day for the human race... lol

This is a really cool feature, thanks for the update. Since the content that users create is what keeps Twitter in business, it seems like the right thing to do to give the people that created it access to it.

Very nice feature; but do you really think we'll be tweeting in 20 years?

Doesn't matter if Twitter will be around or not in 20 years. I can still go back into the archives and find that Dave enjoyed that cheeseburger lol
