Social Bookmarking Woes

  • Member 12229 Reply

I have a client that launched a campaign around two months ago, and for some reason the social bookmarking links are still promoting the initial article that was written on their behalf, and never shifted to promote the newer, more recent articles. I have notified the staff numerous times about this and the issue has yet to be resolved.

    Anyone else having notice this?

Am I the only reseller with this issue? Does anyone have a recommendation?

I can't get overt the complete lack of communication with the staff here at Hubshout. I have reached out to them multiple times about the issue with the social bookmark and have not received any response. I am a new reseller, and would think there would be some level of effort on their end to try to retain me after the 3 month sow.

I don't know what to tell my client anymore, but this has been very embarrassing

    Hi 12229!

We are very sorry to hear of your frustration. Happy to look into it ASAP.

I don't think it's a widespread problem as it has not been reported by others.

But again, happy to look into it for you.

I dug into your account, found a ticket for our demo campaign - which is why it probably has not been addressed... I will speak to your AM and get this fast-tracked...

Again - Sorry for the delay and frustration.

I checked your campaign and see a new article being promoted in Social Media today (no changes made yet)... BUT - I dug deeper and DO see why the last one was promoted for so long. I agree with you, our Tweeters should move on to different content to keep the Social Sharing up-to-date and fresh.. I have an update ready for their screen and this should not happen again..

Keep in mind, you will see repetitive promotions of the same news story / article for up to a week. But it should never be longer than that before we move onto a newer story.

I also asked Jamie (your AM) to call you with an update and apologize for the mix-up on the support ticket.

Of course. Tweets are easy. If there are any that need to be made up, we always do! No worries. :-)
