We are asked all the time about the SEO pricing at HubShout. Seems like everyone believes that they can find SEO cheaper. We usually say: "Sure you can, but can you trust it?". It still amazes me that people think there is a "magic secret" out there related to SEO. So to dive a little deeper into the issue, I did some research and thought I would share. The following monthly SEO prices comparison grid is from SEOmoz, so this is not research we've done first-hand. But we have a great deal of trust in the SEOMoz organization and I think it will help you gain an appropriate frame of reference on the issue.

As you can see from the table above, the cost to do solid SEO can vary significantly. And keep in mind that these are monthly SEO prices. This is probably not what you wanted to find. Most people searching on the term SEO pricing are probably trying to find a way to do things cheaper. I wrote a piece on cheap seo and don't want to repeat myself too much. But let me at least leave you with the old saying that "if something seems too good to be true, it almost always is." Folks, SEO is no different from anything else in business. There are no real short-cuts. You have to earn your success. That being said, there are certainly high quality SEO firms and fly-by-night search engine optimization companies.
