It's an interesting idea and the technology behind it looks pretty cool. I would never use it though.

Definitively creepy. However, I had a dear friend/neighbor pass away last summer. His Facebook account was the most effective way to coordinate remembrances.

Creepy, hands down. What would be cooler from a marketing standpoint (and potentially equally creepy I guess) is to use that technology to develop virtual focus groups, where you could take a slice of a demographic in your social network and throw input at it to get a modeled view of audience reaction.
