Frequently Asked Questions

How do you handle prospects seeking proof of your work?

  • Member 11998 Reply

I have a prospect who's considering hiring me for SEO and PPC but they are asking for a proof and a phone call with one of my clients. I don't have any SEO or PPC client for them to ask questions about the experience with me.

    Chad and Adam,
You need to help out newbies like me get that first client. How about you ask one of your clients that you use for a demo, to answer a few questions. They already know how Hubshout works but mention my business instead of hub shout. I'm pretty sure if I use your demo materials, they'll get the name from the articles and call that company.
I know it's a lot to ask but what else can I do? This is not the first time that it happened. I feel like this is my road block. Everybody needs proof and I don't have any to show.

Your account manager will have ideas and resources that can help you, and this would also be a great question for our 4pm training session (which I've been hosting lately)! There are a few questions I'd like to ask before I give any advice here, so I hope to see you there.

(Wave your mouse over RESOURCES, select SUPPORT, (log in if necessary), scroll down a little, and find the daily training session invite on the left side).

Another way is to tell people that you have a joint partnership with HubShout and then show them their stats of success. People appreciate transparency and truth.
