Google Analytics goes Mobile

For everyone looking for an easy way to access their website analytics, it has finally gone mobile. Check it out on the go, no matter where you are.

How much of an added benefit is it to have your Google analytic data in the palm of your hand (literally)?

I used to have an iphone app that pulled in GA data. It was interesting to look at it but I was already getting notified of most events on the website via email. I always thought it would be cool if you had a successful ecommerce business to watch the dollars roll in :)... sorta like that UPS commercial.

So... for me. I probably won't use it that much.

I can see if you travel a lot and don't have time to whip out a laptop it could be good, and definitely an e-commerce site (assuming you have the tracking codes put on the website correctly) could benefit from it. I think e-commerce or revenue generating sites was the main focus when developing an app like this.

I think it's a good step forward for Google Analytics. Be curious to see the usage, but I feel like most business owners who have websites don't even look at analytics, which is quite a shame!

If I was not at my desk all day, I might use it.

Well at least they gave us the option. lol
