Content Team Quality Score Update

    Last week we finally launched a new feature that our writing team has been demanding for months. They wanted better and more relevant feedback on their premium content -- Onsites, Text 300s, Featured News, Guest Blogs -- so we have totally revamped our editing feedback system. Every piece of premium content produced by our writing team already gets edited and scored, but to help our writers deliver the best possible content for our Main Street clients, we decided to implement the following changes effective immediately:


    • The writers' scores will now be calculated in a 4-week rolling average to get the most timely feedback possible.

    • We are also creating a team average so writers can see how they compare to the rest of the team.

    • We will be tracking both individual and team averages monthly, which will give the writers the ability to set goals and improve throughout the year.



    Finally, while we're always trying to improve our writing, at the end of the day it's the customers' opinion that counts. We're going to compare these new scores to our Customer Satisfaction surveys to make sure we're delivering our best work.
