Hi guys,

I have a couple customers asking me for more regarding our reputation management solutions. I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a wider range of websites we pull from to the Social tab?

For instance, could we have Yelp and Urban Spoon reviews be visible there too? I've seen a few companies offering reputation management as a stand-alone product and I would love to hear what Hubshout's thoughts on this were. I'm a huge fan of everything Hubshout and since reputation management seems to be a related product that more and more businesses are investing in, I'd like to see if there are any plans to add more functionality and data to the customer portal.

Has anyone else been getting questions from clients regarding reputation management solutions?

Great question Chris. I have one clarification question... what does a reputation management product include? Is it software only / monitoring? Or is there proactive stuff going on?

Also, my experience is that the proactive stuff before an issue is less expensive than trying to push something bad off the page. Those get really pricey.

I completely agree that going after bad is not the right way to manage your company's reputation. As far as Hubshout products go, my hope would be to see more and more social media and review sites added to the Social tab.

So to answer your question more directly, I think that broadening the scope of the monitoring would be a great addition. On the reseller side, we can offer help beyond monitoring if we have the means and/or the desire to do it.

From my personal experience, whether a company is using our Social Media product or not, the ability to see tweets/facebook posts/videos, etc. in one place has been a great sweetener to my ability to sell other products.

Good points. I really appreciate your suggestions. I can tell you that social enhancements are on the roadmap for 2013 but we don't have any specific dates yet. We had been talking about working more with Twitter and Facebook because they have good APIs and they have the most usage.

How much of what you want to do is watch for reviews on places like Yelp?

Indeed. I've been really wanting to get to those cool social features... Very excited about these releases next year.

I agree I would love to see more tracking in the social media area as well as ways to track likes, followers etc. I would also love it if we could pull reports from our systems; I just love the way our graphs look and think that would really enhance the reports. After all; images is part of marketing and branding!

Chad, I'm thinking that adding review sites like Yelp to the tab would really bring credibility to customers that we offer true 'reputation monitoring' (maybe not management in the way that people are selling it now), and that this brings a huge amount of value to our current and potential clients.

What would it take to get Facebook to allow Hubshout to integrate their analytics into the dashboard? I'm thinking a first born and 85% owner ship of the company requesting it...?
